There are also 8 programmable menu buttons, a hold mode count-up timer, and indicator lights for operation status. Description
Slow cooking is the best way to prepare tender, flavorful meats. Everyone knows this to be true. This Slo Cook & Hold Oven keeps meats tender and juicy, lowering shrinkage and and providing longer holding life. Halo Heat® sits stationary above and around them, cooking them evenly while preventing the "bleeding" of flavors which can occur when air is circulated. This 20 gauge stainless steel oven is stackable, or can use its 3-1/2 inch casters, two of them rigid and two swivel with brakes, as a base. There are three stainless wire shelves in this unit, allowing for 10 full size pans. A drip pan with a drain and an external drip tray keep your oven cleaner. Oven hoods, outside ventilation and fire extinguishers aren't required in most areas, as the grease laden air emissions are less than UL standards. The unit is a timed cooker, and converts automatically from the "cook" function to the "hold" function when cooking is complete. The control senses drops in temperature quickly, and responds by rapidly restoring the desired temperature. There's an ON/OFF power switch with temperature control knobs for cooking (200-325F) and holding (60-205F). There's also a digital display with Up and Down arrows to set cook and hold times. Indicator lights identify the function in use.
