and highly collectible original program book lavishly produced for
Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers’
nationwide Japanese tour during January and February 1970, presented by the Japan Art Center. The Messengers at the time consisted of Carlos Garnett (tenor), Jan Arnet (bass), Joanne Brackeen (piano), and Etta Jones (vocals).
In original red and black pictorial textured wrappers, staple bound, 26.0 x 36.2 cm, 28 pp. All text in Japanese. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
