The
Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Thunderbolt 2
is an external 1 RU/tabletop I/O device with two 20 Gb/s Thunderbolt ports. It captures DCI 4K 4:2:2 or UHD 4K YUV 4:2:2 at up to 30 fps via single-link 6G-SDI. DCI can be output at up to 30 fps via single- or dual-link 6G-SDI, while UHD can be output at up to 60 fps over dual-link 6G-SDI. UltraStudio 4K also supports HD and SD input/output and features HDMI and analog connections, and it's capable of hardware-based HD up/down/cross conversion. 4K can be input and output compressed and uncompressed. The SDI inputs also support dual-channel 2D/3D stereoscopic workflows.
