Scarce and highly collectible
original vintage program lavishly produced for the
Oscar Peterson Trio’s
March/April 1966 European tour, kicking off at the Deutsches Museum in Munich on 22nd March and ending at the Neue Philharmonie in Berlin on 1st April. Presented by Lippmann+Rau in association with Norman Granz, this was the first tour with the new trio with Sam Jones and Louis Hayes having replaced the departing Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen.
In original b/w typographical matte-coated wrappers (featuring delicate artwork by Günther Kieser), staple bound, 27.6 x 25.6 cm, 12 pp. Program notes by Horst Lippmann in English. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean.
