On offer is the official program for the 20th Newport Jazz Festival, the second one held in New York. Dates were June 29-July 8, 1973. George Wein presented a sprawling festival in numerous venues and among the artists were Charles Lloyd, Gerry Mulligan, Sonny Rollins, Gil Evans, Keith Jarrett, Mary Lou Williams, Duke Ellington, Max Roach, B.B. King, Ray Charles... Producer/journalist Ira Gitler edited the program. Many ads.
The 72 page program measures 9 x 12 inches, and is stapled in heavy wraps. Condition is Fine -- complete, tight, no splits, no marked or torn pages. Wear to the corners, some spine curling, back cover is scuffed.
