US Navy Parallel Motion Protractor from the USS Manatee; made by Glideline Corp in Waynesboro, PA. I'm not sure of the exact manufacture date. But Glideline Corporation was gone by 1972. So this was made sometime before them. The USS Manatee - as noted on the front of the wooden box - was deployed in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The ship was decommisioned in 1973, and sold for scrap later that same year. Shipped with USPS First Class.
