Vintage Drafting Machine

Description

This is a piece of Americana history, circa 1950
This drafting machine belonged C. Gibson.  The box is handmade to fit his machine, with brass hardware on the box, drafting scales, the original direction for the arm and an extra spring.
Gibson was likely a drafter for machine parts for an engine used by Boeing.
This arm is completely functional, right hand machine.
If you are looking for the most blemish free arm, this is not for you. If you want a bit of historical Americana in the 1950's, this deserves a look.
