November 1984 Japanese tour accompanied by saxophonist Branford Marsalis, pianist Kenny Kirkland, and drummer Jeff Watts. The ten-date tour was presented by Kambara Music. By this time, the
Hot House Flowers
album had been recorded at New York’s RCA Studio A, and was released right after the Japanese tour.
